Karl Klein, my friend, was a slightly high-strung but affable chap. We traveled around NY and visited KHs on Sundays and gave a musical program of cello and piano duets. Too, his cello was strung highly.

he claimed to have read all three volumes of vindication by rutherford (my sympathy if true).

The followers of a bloodthirsty god take on his characteristics.
Bringing that to the present, I am personally distressed by the JWs of my acquaintance espousing the foretold execution of Revelation. When I was a JW, I recall that mental acquiescence of a belief was insufficient. We had to prove our advocacy of Witness beliefs and practice by talking and living them.
I found it conflicting to preach the Sermon on the Mount in tandem with the Battle of Armageddon.

Thank you for what you wrote back to me on the thread about who we were and who we are. Somehow, what you have expressed there and here on this new thread has helped me put my own writing in perspective. This is not a writers' forum per se, but all our contributions have value.
Not so many years back, we had many threads of stories and poetry -- and commentary. I miss that.
I appreciate what you are doing. As others have told me not to stop writing, I say the same to you!
